The beautiful Valley Oak tree is native only in California and are the largest of all oak trees in North America. They can grow more than 100
feet tall with a trunk 6 to 7 feet in diameter. Taking 50 years to produce it’s acorns, the Valley Oak can live 400 years and has been
documented at over 600 years. It supplies many animals with food, shelter and a spot for dust bathing.
The above three images have been painted to go together. Similar to a triptych, they have been framed individually instead of together in one
frame, each one floated within it's frame package.
